I’ve always had a fascination with nature and natural history. I remember wanting a rock hammer for my birthday when I was five years old. My best childhood memories were family vacations when we looked for rocks or visited places like Dinosaur National Park. I also loved art and made weird things from stuff I found outside. I’m a bit older now but I still love to play doing the same things I did as a kid. The wonder of finding a fossil, the anticipation of slicing a rock, and the excitement of making something unique is still with me today.
