“My inspiration comes from the colors in the sky and rural landscape where I live. I feel connected to the land and architecture around me. I strive to create work that awakens, and makes others feel alive. A colorful sky in my drawing may evoke a feeling of energy in one person, or a sense of healing in another. It is the power of color that fascinates me and keeps my hand to the paper.”
