Dan Collins
I believe that art is simply the best universal language to know and understand nature. Without art, we are confined to science and emotion, which are both worthy and vital. I differentiate art because it makes the nuance and complexities of our ecological foundations universally approachable and explainable. I practice printmaking to express this voice. I use monotypes to communicate vision and challenges for landscape restoration projects, as a conduit to explain these landscapes to others and to better understand them myself.
