Through observing the rich textures of earth; the elusive movement of objects; the folding and stretching of materials, I create ceramic pieces that feel organic and memorable, yet new and contemporary. I truly enjoy creating pieces that bring others happiness. Every piece of my artwork is a small part of me, an outward expression of what is within my soul. I feel that the life of a pot becomes complete when it has found a person who truly enjoys it. The natural beauty of the earth and what can be observed when connected with it…the patterns, colors, textures, and details that many don’t take the time to appreciate is what I strive to portray in my artwork.
