Lynn Gilchrist
I am an artist who likes to paint reimaginings of the natural world using intense colors. I love living in Sturgeon Bay, WI, and I use the woods, fields, and water of Door County as subject matter. I paint in oils as well as acrylics. Each has its way of teaching the painter something about the other. Painting from life as well as from one’s imagination have their ways of informing the other.
I’ve been invited or juried into art exhibitions across the country and am honored to have my work included in numerous private and public collections. I was named a Door County Master Artist in 2014.
I love to share my delight in nature.
