Lynn Gilchrist has lived in Sturgeon Bay and painted the Door County peninsula since the mid-1970’s. One of the founding members of the Sturgeon Bay Art Crawl, she exhibits widely and is an active presence in the local arts community. She is represented by Idea Gallery, Egg Harbor.

Gilchrist presents her animated and cheerful landscapes and still-lifes at her 120-year old historic home. She paints en plein air as well as from her imagination, infusing her canvases with vibrant color.

Gilchrist’s new work depicts the woods of her imagination in a graphic style.
