Our hot glass studio has a focus of fine art as well as fine craft. Within my own art practice I work in primarily two mediums, glass and paint. The two do often overlap. Most of the glass is narrative imagery about women artist throughout art history and their personal stories. In the decorative art that I create I often use imagery from the nature, birds, flowers and fruit, as well as from material culture, which would be teapots, houses and chairs. My oil paintings range from landscape to abstract always creating a glass-like luminosity.
