Naomi Moes Jenkins
As a young child, I was obsessed with horses and faces, constantly drawing. The ancient arts inspired my style of the human form, and its mythology and symbolism instilled a desire for emotion in my artwork. After college, I immersed myself in sculpture, beginning with paper mache, and started to gain recognition.
As I grew in my quest to create, I developed my own process, starting with industrial-grade paper mache and eventually incorporating resin and fiberglass to create more durable designs and outdoor sculptures. Because I feel so much energy when I am creating, it comes out in all of my work.
