Working as a photojournalist in the 1980’s, I learned to appreciate seeing life  through a lens and capturing images for others to enjoy. I have been photographing Door County for over 20 years and have collected a diverse catalog of images including landscapes, birds, and flowers. I especially love taking pictures during the golden hour when the sun is low in the sky and casts a warm glow on the subjects. In an age when many images are only displayed on a phone or social media, I am passionate about creating physical representations of my work by printing all my own images, ensuring that they accurately reflect my vision for the scene.
